How to turn printed notes into handwritten notes

Copy lecture notes, slide excerpts or study sheets onto lined or grid paper as handwritten pages.

Step by step

  1. Prepare the sourceUpload the PDF or images of your notes, or paste the text. Select up to 10 pages at a time.
  2. Choose the styleChoose Transcribe, then grid or lined paper and a handwriting style. Grid paper keeps short formulas and numbered steps tidy.
  3. Check and downloadCompare each page with the source. Simple one-line formulas can work, as in the example below; complex equations, tables and tiny type are a weak fit.

Can it write formulas?

Short formulas written on one line often come out readable, as in the example. Fractions, matrices, multi-line derivations and tables are not rebuilt and are a weak fit. Check every symbol before you rely on the page.
