When your files leave your browser, where they go, and how long they stay.
When files are uploaded
Samples, local preview, pasted-text layout, and style choices stay in your browser. Selected page images are uploaded when you generate. Uploads are re-encoded, which removes metadata such as photo location.
The model provider
Transcription sends a paper template and your selected page to the configured image-model provider. Original-page fill sends your original page and the supplied content for it. Both include style instructions and may include a previous result for handwriting consistency.
How long files stay
Source images and results are in private storage and deleted after 24 hours. Orders and the minimum task record remain. Logs do not keep document content.
Abuse prevention
To stop bulk sign-ups for free trials, we record the sign-up email, a random browser id, a browser-characteristics digest, and the network address. They are stored only as keyed hashes, used to decide trial eligibility, and never for advertising.
Who can open them
Logged-out visitors cannot read your files. Download links expire after 10 minutes. Other accounts cannot open your tasks.
Security
Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash. The sign-in cookie is HttpOnly, and Secure on https. Sign-up, resending a code, and password reset are rate limited and require a human check. Verification email bodies are not written to the server log. The pricing page lets you choose a country or region, starting from your network location. Until WeChat and Alipay open, every country including mainland China pays by card on the provider's hosted page. After they open, mainland China pays on WeChat or Alipay. Card numbers and payment passwords never reach this site and are not stored here. Payment notifications must be signed, and a mismatched amount or currency does not add credits. Source files and results are deleted from the server after 24 hours.
